How soon should I book my wedding music?
The easy answer: The sooner the better. Our top groups book first so for the best selection call us right after you have your ceremony and reception booked. The good news? We have many fine musicians who specialize in weddings and even if you decide at the last minute you want a group, we can likely find what you need.
More to the point, you may need a year or more to plan a large formal wedding in a popular venue. Smaller, less formal, weddings may be planed in three months although in general, waiting till the last minute reduces your choices and increases your costs.

What groups provide wedding music?
The most popular groups for wedding ceremonies are string quartets. Brass ensembles work well, especially in larger churches. Woodwind ensembles and mixed ensembles are also quite effective. If you have a smaller venue, a soloist might fit the bill. If your ceremony is at a church that provides an organist, our professionals can work with the organist to provide great music for you.
Almost any of the groups listed under Classic Ensembles and Solo Artists can handle the music for your wedding ceremony and reception. If you have a large formal wedding consider a brass quintet or string quartet for the ceremony, a woodwind trio or harpist for the pre-dinner reception and one of our dance or club groups for the post-dinner dancing.
